A cross-country and marathon mtb shoe designed for winter sessions in mild climates. The shoe is made in Pique Gore-Tex® membrane, keeping the foot warm and perfectly isolated. An additional lining on the tip of the foot provides to improve thermal insulation.
Power transmission is given to the Jaws Carbon Reinforced sole with a 8.0 stiffness index and a natural rubber tread heel for extreme grip on any surface.
The upper has the overlap construction, made with the most innovative materials, uniformly wrapping the foot without any pressure point and helping to transfer every watt of power, eliminating the dispersion of energy. Furthermore, the TPU reinforcements ensure a 360° protection along the entire upper.

An easy and even closure system is guaranteed by the SLW2 dial, the only one with a step-by-step release, which allows a millimetric adjustment of the shoe closure in a quick and intuitive manner. The new Easyfit Climaflex collar combines the extreme elasticity of the Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane with the high thermal insulation of Neoprene, guaranteeing mobility and protection.

The wrapping and positioning of the heel are guaranteed by an anatomical seat and a solid thermoformed counter, in addition to the Arctic 4Layer insole made with Eva + aluminum + Eva + Pile which ensures excellent thermal insulation. For safety, the 360​° reflective inserts guarantee excellent visibility on the road.

GORE-TEX:
When temperatures fall and only the toughest riders are still on the road, the top models of the NORTHWAVE collection are the perfect choice. Thanks to insulating fibres, the GORE-TEX membrane, that is used for the Arctic versions of certain NORTHWAVE shoes, provides optimal protection from cold and is thus also suitable for toughest weather conditions in winter. Excellently protects from rain, wind and snow while being also extremely breathable: for permanently dry and warm feet! The outer material is easy to clean, e.g. after muddy rides.

S.L. SYSTEM closure:
The Speed Lace system provides a perfect support of the foot and is fast and functional: The shoe can be opened and closed with a flick of the wrist.

POWER STRAP closure:
The Power Strap covers the Speed Lace closure and protects it from wind, water and dirt. This allows for easier cleaning after rides through snow and mud.

INTEGRATED HEEL SYSTEM:
Thanks to the new single shell design of the upper material, an efficient heel support could be directly integrated into the structure without additional elements. Same effect, lower weight.
