- Sole: Carbon/glass fibre
- Upper: Lightweight Polyurethaneelastomere
- Upper construction: Multilayer thermo-welded + airflow system
- Closing system: SRS closing system
Technologies:
- S.R.S. closing system: S.R.S. (Slim Ratchet System) is Northwave’s new micrometric buckle. Maximum closing precision, minimized size and weight. The mechanism follows the anatomic shape of the foot, to ensure the most comfortable fit, and is designed to ease the grasp even when riding. Forged in aluminium, it’s great for top resistance and ease of replacement.
- AirFlow System: It’s the Northwave ventilation system with large vents that lets your feet breathe: the lower vent channels air inside the sole, while the side vents guarantee a supply of fresh air.
- Multilayer Thermo-welded construction: New Multilayer construction: a light microfibre is coupled with large thermo-welded mesh vent inserts at the same thickness of a traditional monolayer. The result: better comfort and reduced weight.

NOTE! To avoid unnecessary exchanges or returns of purchased footwear - when choosing the size you are ordering, PLEASE stick to the following rules:
A. The insole lengths in mm given in the last column are the ACTUAL, total lengths measured by ourselves.
B. PLEASE CHOOSE a size whose insole is 5mm to 10mm longer than the actual length of your bare foot (ROAD shoes closer to 5mm, MTB / GRAVEL / ENDURO shoes closer to 10mm).
C. How to measure your foot?
- Place the heel against a wall or e.g. furniture, and place something rigid, such as a book, perpendicular to the toes
- Measure the distance between the wall and the book.
- You should check both feet, because quite often one is longer :)
