CX Sport – The higher cadence & longer ride times which characterize road cycling require excellent foot control to avoid hot-spots & numbness. With a much closer fit than any of our off-road lasts, our Sport last cradles the foot securely to prevent any unwanted movement. This last features a precisely fitted toe-box, high arch & mid width ball girt | Comfortable down to -4°C
Perfect for splashing in puddles or more suitably for cyclists looking for a little added protection during wet rides, the Lake CX145 Waterproof Boot will help in both situations! Designed for riding in all types of weather, the Lake CX145 is a pair of tough road cycling boots that are fully waterproof.
The waxed canvas and leather uppers have a waterproof membrane stopping the water from seeping in while you ride. The fibreglass-injected nylon outsole is strong and lightweight, and the standard three-hole cleat pattern attaches easily to your pedals.
The micro-adjustable BOA cable system provides an evenly distributed and equalised closure that can be fine-tuned and eliminates pressure points and hot spots, with releasable guides for quick shoe changes on the go.

MAINTANCE
Tip for keeping your shoes Water resistant: The uppers are treated from the factory with a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating that will ware away over time and use. Like many other water-resistant products, to help keep the shoe uppers from absorbing water that could migrate into the shoe, it is recommended to reapply the upper with a DWR spray which are readily available at most stores that sell outdoor products. We recommend reapplying the coating 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and for heavy use or daily commuter riders reapply at least after every 2-3 extreme wet rides. For best result follow the instructions from the DWR manufacture on how to reapply the coatings.

NOTE! To avoid unnecessary exchanges or returns of purchased footwear - when choosing the size you are ordering, PLEASE stick to the following rules:
A. The insole lengths in mm given in the last column are the ACTUAL, total lengths measured by ourselves.
B. PLEASE CHOOSE a size whose insole is 5mm to 10mm longer than the actual length of your bare foot (ROAD shoes closer to 5mm, MTB / GRAVEL / ENDURO shoes closer to 10mm).
C. How to measure your foot?
- Place the heel against a wall or e.g. furniture, and place something rigid, such as a book, perpendicular to the toes
- Measure the distance between the wall and the book.
- You should check both feet, because quite often one is longer :)
